In The Nursery
Every child in our nursery is treated as an individual and the care we provide reflects this.
Each child has a key person who will liase with you via daily reports and through speaking to you at the beginning and the end of each day. Regular communication helps us to work together by providing continuity of care at home and in the nursery. The key person also allows children to build trust, form relationships and allow staff to have a greater understanding of your child's needs whether emotional, cultural, religious, medical, dietary or developmental.
Children are encouraged to develop at their own pace. Base rooms are age appropriate and are designed to meet the developmental needs of the children, stimulating their learning, independence and confidence.
We provide multi-sensory experiences through sand and water play, making and listening to music, malleable materials, feely boxes, mirrors and many more activities.
We work with the (EYFS) Early Years Foundation Stage guidance to ensure that your child gets the best possible play opportunities each day.
Parents and carers are welcome to telephone or visit the nursery at any time and join in with the activities. We operate an ‘open door‘ policy.
